, MODULE INTRODUCTION




This course aims to equip the student with a thorough knowledge of Child law, which is
explored in the context of socio-legal debates surrounding children and the family.


Topics will include the international and domestic framework of children’s rights; parentage
and parenthood; parental responsibility; children in care; adoption, child abduction and
children and private law disputes.


MODULE AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

As a result of taking this course you will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of key
areas of child law.
