Full document of all possible essay titles that can come up in Kantian ethics. Essay plans are detailed and well structured with clear line of argument and named scholarly views. The essay plans can be adapted to be used for any title. Also includes list of all possible essay titles for the topic. You can use these plans alone to write an A* grade Philosophy essay. NOTE: for Kantian ethics there is a limited number of essay plans because i wrote a plan that can be used for most essay titles in this topic- it may need to be adjusted to fit the question but the structure of the essay remains the same- it is a universal plan

KANTIAN ETHICS: ESSAY PLANNING FOR MOCKS

SIMPLE KANT QUESTION ESSAY PLAN

Example of titles:

Critically asses the view that Kants theory of ethics has no serious weaknesses

The weaknesses of Kantian ethics outweigh the strengths (or other way round)

Kants theory of ethics is not helpful when making a moral decision

Kantian ethics is too abstract to be useful

INTRO:
- KE is a deontological theory of ethics that relies on an innate sense of a priori reasoning to
create universalible moral maxims and achieve the ultimate telos, the summum bonum.
- Deontological, absolutist, a priori theory of ethics- based on logic and reason
- Rejects emotion and empiricism- does not believe in the consequentialist school of thought
- Aimed to show that there is an objective, universal morality and this can be known through
reason
- Humans should be rational, autonomous decision makers- and should do the right thing
based off duty and not emotion or consequence
- Uses the three formulations of the categorical imperative to determine if an action is moral
or not

MY LINE OF THESIS
- Kant is too abstract in his thinking
- His rejection of love and emotion is inhumane and hard to follow
- There are serious weaknesses that make his theory impossible to follow in 21 st century
