Documents used in a recruitment process
In this report I will be containing three types of documents used to recruit potential
applicants. The three documents are job description, person specification and a job advert.
Before these documents are compiled an analysis of the job must be done. What the job
analysis does is it ensures that the information about the job role. An example, the duties
that will be carried out must first be assessed before a job description or person
specification can be prepared. If the job role is new, a greater level of analysis must be done
to determine how the employee will be paid, who to report to and the specific duties they
should have. Also, their previous experience and qualifications they must have in order to fill
the job role correctly. If it has already been filled then they could use the previous job
applications information.
