Separatist movement
-Protestantain insisted that the bible was the only source of
teaching and that it should be made available to all in their
language, separate development of individual Churches were
always a possibility.
->Some congregations did follow that path, using isolated
volume gatherings to explore the Bible and to teach therefore
their activities were a secret
Brownists- Separatists groups.
-Reformer Robert Browne had established a Separatist
congregation in Norwich.
-He wrote A Book which Sheweth the life and Manner of All
true Christians (1582)
-Browne argued that the Church of England was corrupted by its
Catholic traces and lack of moral discipline
