9.1 flight hours? - ANS-Yes it is legal because you weren't scheduled for over 8 hours.
You are required 10 hours of rest before flying again. If it was 9.1 hours you would need
11 hours of rest.
How high are we allowed to fly? - ANS-At or below 10,000 ft, except up to 30 minutes of
flight between 10,001 to 12,000 ft MSL, after which supplemental oxygen would be
required for the pilots.
What is the crossing altitude between MKK and HNL? KOA and OGG? OGG and LNY?
- ANS-5,000, 7,500 and 2,500
What is the terrain clearance requirement for night VFR? - ANS-1000 ft above the
highest obstacle within a 5 horizontal mile distance or in designated mountainous areas
(which Hawaii is) 2,000 ft above the highest obstacle within a 5 horizontal mile distance
of the course intended to be flown.
Can we fly night VFR? How? - ANS-Yes with approval from the DO.
