Between the years of 1945-48, Stalin's intervention played a role in starting the Cold War.
Stalin policies in Eastern Europe (Revolution without permission) which involved salami
tactics and rigging elections had nonetheless had caused tension to increase in American
intervention via economic Aid. However other factors overshadow this in marking the start
of the Cold War. This could be seen in Truman's plan and Marshall's ,,, in containing
communism causing tension to boil in which Stalin tightened and rejected aid fearing other
countries might gain Marshall's Aid. As well as this Truman containment policy in Germany
in wanting a separate and superior Germany had caused tension to boil which a blockade to
be built and as a result Nato had been formed signifying the division and two Germanys
formed. Therefore
