Introduction
Effective communication is when individuals in a work environment can communicate with
each other appropriately, where the message is conveyed effectively and is comprehended
by the other individuals. The individual, who gets the message from someone else, should
have to listen cautiously so they acknowledge what has been said. Effective communication
is essential in a workplace and while applying for a job. This can be as verbal or composed
correspondence. How an individual communicates in attitude, tone and behaviour,
demonstrates whether they are fit to work in a particular task. Effective communication is
critical in a work environment, as you must have the ability to work together with other
people in the workplace. Having effective communication is beneficial for you to become a
good employee in team building tasks such as doing maintenance on computer systems.
Three main principles of effective communication
General communication skills: These communication skills are when you convey what point
you are trying to convey by speaking, writing or showing. There are numerous categories
that illustrate examples of communication skills
