Outline the web architecture and components which enable internet and
web functonality (P1)
Hardware
PC - Personal computers are utilised to access the world wide web on a daily basis. Through
Personal computers it is made possible to access the internet, because of the sofwarees you
can download into your personal computers. For Instance, downloading a sofware like
Google Chrome will make it possible for individuals to access the internet on their personal
computer on a daily basis.
Routers - Routers, is a hardware device made to receive, analyse and move the packets that
come to another network. Without a router people wouldn't be able send packets to other
networks or use the internet. Routers connect networks.
Server - Server is a computer program that accepts and then replies to other programs like
the clients. The server is used to control the network resources. So without a server this
wouldn't be possible to control a network resource(s).
Web Server - Web server it is a program which utilises hypertext transfer protocol to assist
files, which make web pages for individuals, in reply to the reuuirements. They are then
advanced by their PCeS hypertext transfer protocol clients. For instance, hosting a website
would be impossible without a server. Google chrome is an internet browser, which can
access the internet and has loads of other features compared to other browsers. But
without programs like a web server we wouldn't even be able to use the internet.
Email server – An email server; this is an computer system, which forwards and gets email.
In plenty of cases, mail servers and web servers are united into one computer. But
big internet service providers and open email services, for instance Hotmail and Gmail might
utilise committed components for forwarding and getng email. It transmits messages
through communication networks
Proxy Server – The proxy server. This is a server which is between a client sofware, for
instance a web browser, and the proper server. The proxy server stops all reuuirements to
the proper server. When this is done it tries to do what the reuuirement is asking, if it
cannot then it sends the reuuirement to the proper server.
Streaming Server – Streaming server it can either be a committed web server or a streaming
server application within an web server which brings on demand or live and various other
media to watch for the client devices.
