Personal statement
After completing GCSE with 11 A*-C’s I decided to enrol at Cambridge Regional College studying
an Extended Diploma in Business as a BTEC, and received good results after the first year. My
motivation and work ethic extend pass college, as I placed first in the East of England
Entrepreneur Challenge at Peterborough Careers Fair. I am seeking to gain a university degree
to extend my current knowledge of Business, especially towards Management.
I am methodically minded, with a direct approach, which can also be adapted to work with
developing problems. On top of this, I am eager to develop personal skills with the goal to
become a manager or play a senior role in a top UK business.
Key Skills
Ability to competently express ideas clearly and confidently verbally as well as through
written communication, which has been developed through multiple essays and
presentations during school and college.
Understand how to manage a team and work well and confidently with the members of
the group.
Ability to work well under pressure, and managing to improve to reduce pressure in the
future.
The ability to use Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel extremely
efficiently and without problems.
Able to adapt successfully to changing situations and environments.
