Unit 29- Understanding Retail
In this assignment I will describe structure and organisation of the retail sector. I will
also compare the function of formats and locations in retailing.

 Retail- The sale of goods or commodities in small quantities directly to
consumers.
 Retail is the sale of goods and services from individuals or businesses to the end-
user.
