,Abstract
The aim of this report was to investigate seniors using the web, looking at
their attitudes towards the web, and examining any accessibility issues they
may be faced with. A short interview was conducted focusing on two websites
built specifically with seniors in mind. The results indicate that the majority of
seniors would benefit from websites featuring more accessibility solutions
such as a text enlargement button. It is recommended companies spend more
time focusing on accessibility issues and solutions as well as gaining an
insight into the users perspective throughout the design and development
process in order to make the websites accessible to a wider audience.
