Synapses:
Cholinergic synapses are synapses that use acetylcholine as a
neurotransmitter.
A synapse is a junction between two or more neurones,
between the axon of one neurone & the dendrite of another.
The action potential cannot cross the gap between the
neurones.
The presynaptic action potential causes the release of a
neurotransmitter which diffuses across the gap, generating a
new action potential.
