Who is entitled to stand for election?
There are many specifications in place in order to be able to stand for election. These include being over the age of 18 an
be British, part of the commonwealth or Republic of Ireland. In order to be able to stand for election you must be nomin
registered electors who are willing to say you would be a good MP. You must also have authorisation from the party wh

Candidate selection process –
While being considered to run for a local MP, it is compulsory for them to do a background check to make sure you do
