Assignment 1: A basis of Animation
Unit 31: Computer Animation

, Different types of animation

Different Types of Animation
Movement Animation
Movement animation is mostly used nowadays is most
presentations. Movement is one object going from point A to point B
in some sort of animation. This could be in a flying movement of a
swirl animation; there are hundreds of movement animations
implemented in presentations. Movement animation can be added
to more than one object in a presentation and the timing for the
animation to start can be adjusted by the user. The movement is
done frame by frame or by using tweening.

Masking Animation
Masking is hiding a part of a picture to only reveal what you want;
therefore the picture is being hidden by a mask. Masking can be used
in types of fonts. For example you might find a green background
and want to apply it in the font. The background can be put into the
font and everything else can be cut leaving the background inside the
font. This gives more of an attraction to people and shows how
animation can be used to create new types of custom fonts.
