Checked the availability of sources. Allowed me to ensure that there was enough information
to write about on my final essay
Gantt Chart- allowed me to set my own deadlines. Also allows me to ensure that all my tasks
are completed and do not cumulate
Reliability of sources: made sure they were valid and kept track of all the sources I used

Ethical issues: advertising companies make CS as an opportunity for business instead of a
source of help. Unqualified surgeons; earn higher income
Benefits of cosmetic surgery; results are instant, long-lasting very accessible
Being more attractive → more successful. Study on more attractive real estate agents who
sell more expensive estates. Pressure on everyone to attractive in order to be successful

CS should not be the primary treatment → negatives outweigh positives however it can be
used correctly if done for self-motivation and patient research their doctor

Personal opinions are subjective→ goes with the reliability of sources
Using sub-Qs in essay to ensure reader is not lost

Managed to avoid personal bias → CS is topic where it can be very easy to form a strong
opinion w/o doing any prior research also summarised key points per source
Found a lot of negatives → struggled to balance my essay on my first draft which led me to
keep adding more sources to research on → spent more anticipated time

Find positive argument then a negative one- easier to balance essay
I would have liked to have interviewed a cosmetic surgeon → get an local professional
opinion and see if it differentiates to the other opinions I obtained
Spend more time critically analysing each source

Time management → importance to make sure you complete tasks when you set them.
To not procrastinate → will leave tasks last minute, notes not high quality if in a rush
Interpret professional sources → use a lot of jargon hard to simplify the key points
Accepting criticism from others → allowed me to improve what I have already done
