A website is a collection of web pages and related content that is published on at least one web

An information-centric website's goal provides relevant, useful information to a particular user or
demographic so that they can learn something new or gain a deeper understanding of a subject.
These websites focus on more useful information and may include "how to", "tips and tricks," fix-
and-repair instructions," advice, support information, directions, etc.

There are three different website types to cover with the first being:
Web 1.0 - The World Wide Web's initial development is referred to as Web 1.0. In Web 1.0, the vast
majority of users were content consumers and there were very few content creators. Personal
websites were widespread and mostly included static pages maintained on free web hosts or web
servers controlled by ISPs.
Web 1.0 forbids the viewing of ads while browsing websites. Ofoto, another online digital

Web 1.0 is a content delivery network (CDN) that allows websites to present the information. As a
personal website, it is usable.

Danica really came up with it in 1999. Worldwide websites that emphasise user-generated content,
usability, and interoperability for end users are referred to as "Web 2.0." The participative social web
is another name for Web 2.0. It does not mean to change any technical requirements, but rather to
alter the layout and functionality of Web pages. Although the shift is advantageous, it does not seem
that way when the changes take place.
And lastly Web 3.0 with the integration of DLT (a block chain is an example of Distributed Ledger
Technology, or "DLT"), the Web has been transformed into a database that can be used to create
Smart Contracts tailored to the needs of the individual. This is known as "Web 3.0." After a long
period of focusing on the front-end, it allows for the upgrading of the back-end of the web (Web 2.0
has mainly been about AJAX, tagging, and another front-end user-experience innovation). The

Originally, Amazon.com was a C++ binary called Obidos. In the early days of the Internet, writing
everything in C++ made sense since servers were expensive and not nearly as fast as they are
today, and things like Python, Ruby, etc. weren't nearly as mature.
To make it easier to make webpages without writing tons of string manipulation code in C++,
the company developed a simple in-house templating system called “catsubst” (cat like the
Unix program, subs like substitution).
Over time, the set of features on the Amazon website grew and the Obidos codebase began to
Sprawl. The binary was multiple gigabytes and took a very long time to compile. So, in the early-
mid 2000s, the company began to switch over to Gurupa.
Currently in 2022 YouTube website is written in a few different languages However, C++ was used
for the most important and core function of this app – video processing. Managing this many data is
extremely difficult when your site has approximately between 1 to 2 billion monthly users. I think it
speaks for itself. C++ is a secret weapon of the biggest companies in the world. And I think we can
even say that they’re so successful because of C++
