Biogenesis Vs. Abiogenesis
At some point life has to come out of something that is not living. Abiogensis
is something non living gives you something living (spontaneous generation).
- mice from wheat was a dutch experiment where some wheat grains
were put in a box and found mice there, so believed the wheat had
produced mice.
- Flies from meat was an italian experiment, they thought the flies were
coming straight from the meat
- There had to be at some point a step from non living to living
- Maybe it was one dramatic event with special set of circumstances?
- OR
- what we call ‘life’ evolved gradually from complex chemistry
