Crisis
A crisis is a behavior or action that can cause a difficult situation for an individual or a group. With the current trends in the world, there is an increase in the number of events that can cause crises among people. However, to prevent further escalation, proper management and intervention strategies have been implemented. Crisis intervention is a strategy used to counter the events that may bring about a dangerous situation. According to Mitchell (n.d.), it is the method used to offer short-term immediate help to individuals who have experienced an event that produces mental, physical, emotional, and behavioral distress.
