Drop shipping from China - The business will drop ship from Taobao, which is
like eBay and amazon for china. It is a very
successful business having over 726 million
active users monthly, Taobao allows
businesses to create online shops and be able
to reach all 726 million of their customers. One
of the many benefits of doing this is that the
prices in china are remarkably low because of
the countries low-income rates, which is why
the labour is so cheap there. However, 1
downside of this business idea is the long
delivery times, which can sometimes take
longer than 2 weeks, but this could be solved
once the business grows and will be able to
afford buying a warehouse where they can store all their most popular
products locally, which will drastically reduce the shipping times. However,
Taobao is now only opened in china and not available to the rest of the world
as they do not offer international shipping. With this business idea we want to
successfully create a collaboration between my business and Taobao, which
will open the Taobao Chinese market to the rest of the world as it will benefit
both parties. The business will have a flat structure as all of the products will
be packed and shipped from china and we wont need lots of people working
on our side. We will also need to collaborate with a transportation provider to
allow us to transport products from China to the rest of the world.
As you can see above, a jacket on Taobao is ¥86.98 which is equivalent to £10.14.
Which will allow even people with a low income to afford these products.
, Gym Wear Brand – Due to the corona virus, people have started to become
more active as they have a lot more free time
now. A gym wear brand now will benefit
massively from this, as they have become more
health aware, it will motivate them to become
more active which benefits a gym wear brand as
they will need gym wear to start exercising.
Research has shown that interest in going to the
gym will only grow in the coming years. And so,
will the market for fitness wear. Because most of the gym wear brands are
quite expensive, such as Gymshark which is making hard for some people to
get, so it will be a good idea to start a new business that offers affordable
gym wear and targets people with lower income. The process that will be
used for this business is outsourcing as we
will use factories that are based somewhere
in Asia, as the labour cost is lower and will
allow us to save some money. The business
will have a flat structure as we are
outsourcing our products and we will not
need a lot of staff; some of the amin roles are
marketing and advertising. The business will
also need to invest lots of money into making
the business popular.

and attract more customers. SMMA is a
very popular business model or getting
clients, as last year there were 672,890
new companies registered. This is an
increase of 8.5% compared to previous
years, and all these new companies means

most of these new businesses will want to
use social media to promote their
