M1- Compare marketing techniques used in marketing products in two
organisations.
For this task I am going to describe two how marketing techniques are used to
market products in two organisations. The first organisation that I will give a brief
information about will be Thorpe Park, and following I will do Coca Cola. I choose
these two businesses because they are two contrasting business and also because
both are different from each other so there will be more things to compare

entertainment. They are like a funfair however which much more dynamic rides
which spins and swings etc. This business is most known for having one of the
best rides in UK and everyone who looks for entertainment with a fair price will go
there. Thorpe Park is located ate Stains Road in Chertsey, Surrey KT16 8PN.
Brief History: Thorpe Park in Surrey is the new version of the old one that has

it became the most completed funfair in the UK with the variety of rides and best

Thorpe Park famous and one of the best attraction to go to mostly on summer but
anytime of the year.
Coca Cola: This is one of the best company and known for selling soft drinks.
There are many soft drink companies such as Fanta, Sprite and such which are
really famous, but Coca cola is definitely the best one out of all of them. Now days
you can find a range of things with the Coca cola brand on it. They sponsor some
people in sport, they have t shirts and the obvious more than 50 flavours of coca
cola.
Brief History: Coca Cola has invented in 1886 in New York Harbour by John
Pemberton and Frank Robinson. Coca Cola was only a mixture of liquids
