Experiment
1.) 1 gram of potatoes is measured using a spatula and weighing boat using a weighing
scale and then it is transferred to the boiling tube.
2.) 250ml Water is added to separate test tube. Then you put this test tube with the
water which you added into a beaker of water.
3.) One end of the delivery tube is placed into the test tube with the other end attached
to the bung of the boiling tube.
4.) Measure out 5cm3 hydrogen peroxide solution and this you add it into the boiling
tube where there is the 1 gram of potato.
5.) Once the hydrogen peroxide is added to the boiling tube after it the rubber bung is
attached to the delivery tube and stopwatch is started immediately after this.
6.) The volume of gas which is released is used to measure 45 seconds for every 5
minutes.
7.) The experiment is repeated three time using 3 times
