Executive summary
This business report will review my own strengths and areas for improvements which
I have presented during my work experience. Secondly, it will identify improvements
of personal and professional skills in response to feedback from the work
experience.
Moreover, it will assess performance during internship with recommendations for
personal and professional development. Lastly, it will evaluate the internship and the
impact which it has on my future career.

, Review of my own strengths and areas for development in
work experience
STRENGTHS ● My experience, notably my knowledge of
business, more specifically finance, would make
a difference. Through my studies of the BTEC
level 3 National Extended Diploma I obtained a
certificate in spite of my interests. As a result, I
gained knowledge and comprehension in all
major areas when it comes to comprehending
any business and how it operates. This means
that I have a suitable level of business
knowledge and comprehension, which benefited
the global market operation department during
my placement because I was not a total newbie,
allowing me to participate readily.
● I was able to effectively finish a work placement
in a Global Market Operations department as a
result of this. Here, I was able to effectively
execute difficult responsibilities throughout my
placement, such as establishing the website,
creating schedules, and attending mandatory
monthly finance meetings. This demonstrated my
understanding, which enabled me to contribute
successfully to my placement.
● I feel that I work best in a team environment,
collaborating on a common objective within the
banking industry, problem solving, negotiating,
and interacting with numbers and finances. This
enabled me to exhibit these abilities throughout
my job placement.
● My personal characteristics include being
diligent, wanting to learn, possessing a strong
work ethic, being an excellent listener, being
courteous, helpful, driven, and primarily
determined to succeed.
● Additionally, I possess professional talents that
assist me in the workplace. These include
leadership abilities, teamwork, motivation,
determination, and a willingness to take initiative.
WEAKNESSES ● I think that I am lacking in professional skills and
job experience. I lack experience working under
duress in a fast-paced workplace environment.
As a result, I need to develop this through job
experience. This will help me to strengthen my
desire, determination, and work ethic in order to
