Finally, I will evaluate how changes in the market have impacted on a given business
and how this business may react to future changes.




What is meant by the business environment?

The business environment concept is the total or set of all external and internal
variables, such as employees, customer expectations and customer needs, supply
and demand, management, customers, suppliers, shareholders, government
activities, technological advancement, social trends, market trends, economic
changes. Such considerations influence the position of the organisation and how a
business functions indirectly or directly. The total of these variables affects the
climate and condition of businesses or business organisations.The business
environment helps to identify business opportunities, to support valuable resources,
to help in planning and to improve overall efficiency, development and profitability of
the organisation. Micro and macro environments are considered as two main types
of business environment.
