Dear participant,

Thank you for your participation in this study concerning creativity. The aims of this study
was to measure whether creativity is affected by the presence or a sense of others. This was
an independent groups design where one group worked individually and the other group
carried out the same task in a groups of 3.

Peer review is the process in which other psychologists working in a similar field check the
research report before deciding whether it could be published. The work is considered in
terms of its validity, significance and originality. It assesses the appropriateness of the
methods and designs used, and the reviewer can suggest that the author makes edits and
re-submits or reject the work without possibility of re-submission.

The purpose of peer review is to ensure that the research is relevant and of high quality. It
ensures that the findings are accurate and evaluates proposed designs in terms of aims,
quality and value of the research for research funding.
