The role of Line Managers in Health and Social Care is to manage the work of an individual or of a team in an organisation. This
is important in maintaining standards because line managers first will give an informal conversation or warning then if the
concerns are serious or there is no improvement in performance more formal action may be taken which could finally lead to
suspension or dismissal. This improve the healthcare setting.
