D1

I do think that globalisation has overall had a positive and negative impact of the way that apple will
trade internationally. Globalisation was had an impact on pretty much businesses.; some negative
and some positive.

Globalisation has made trading around the world a lot easier. It has been made easier through the
use of improved communication. It has also meant that businesses creating international
partnerships has become much easier. This is because of the improvements of technology.
Globalizations has also mean that its easier for people to move between countries to work for other
businesses. This is good for apple.

How has globalisation affected apple

One massive advantage is that their market share has increased a lot. Globalisation did have an
effect on this. This is because apple can now trade globally. Trading with other countries has become
much easier for any business. One reason for this is the increase in technology. This means that
apple can communicate with different retailers around the world easier. This then means that apple
use indirect distribution easier. This when apple will sell their products to other retailers, they can
then sell them. This is where most of apples sales will come from. Apple can easily communicate
with other businesses; this is a result of globalisation.

However, there is a negative to increased trade with other countries. this is that there are a range of
barriers that could cause apple problems. These could be from tariffs to trade restrictions. Tariffs will
impact apple short term; this is because they will have to spend more money in certain countries to
import their products. this then leads to less profit. However, trade restrictions could impact apple
long term. This is because if apple is not allowed to trade in some countries then their sales will
decrease and eventually, they will lose money. This is a result of globalisation as international trade
has increased massively and some countries will not like this and want to use local businesses more.

Another impact of globalisation is that there has been a big improvement in technology. Businesses
have also started to use this technology when trading. Apple will also take advantage of this. Apple
use payment systems when trading internationally. They will have a private system set up that will
mean they can receive other payments from other businesses. This then means that apple can
effectively trade without many problems, it is also a lot easier for them than when the business was
founded 44 years ago. This is all a result of globalisation.

Due to globalisation, apple will also have access to new markets. This is good for them as they will be
able to reach more potential customers. If they can do this effectively, they will be able to make
more sales and make more profit. This is caused by globalisation. The world trade organisation
(WTO) will also help apple get access to new markets. The WTO makes sure that all countries can
trade freely and smoothly. This is very good for apple as they will be able to sell their products in
new markets. They will also become recognised around the world better; this could lead to more
popularity and that could lead to more sales and profits. This is all a result of globalisation.

Globalisation has also allowed businesses to get access to the best materials possible. This is
something apple will have benefited from as well. They will be able to get access to better resources,
this allows them to make the best possible products. this will allow apple to maximise their profits.
This is all a result of globalisation.

One problem that I can see is that apple don’t manufacture their products outside of the united
states. Maybe apple would benefit from moving production to other parts of the world. This could
