Incident 1: Liam Corcoran, the 11-year-old boy had no passport, no
ticket, and no boarding pass. Yet, he managed to fly 1000 miles
(1,700-km) on a passenger plane from England to Italy. The boy’s
boundless excitement alerted the passengers who alerted the cabin
crew that the boy was off by himself. The boy is known to have a
history of catching free rides on buses and trains. He was sent to
Manchester on the return flight. The incident was a shocking breach of
security for the airport, airline Jet2.com and the British government,
days before the Olympics begins. Jet2.com has reportedly launched a
full investigation into what it considers a “serious incident”.
Agencies involved will vary depending on the nature of the
incident.

Coordination requirements- Coordination is important and needs to
be effective. It could be effective in the following ways:
•Follow standard procedures for the passenger’s safety to protect the
property, saving lives of passengers and other surroundings. Securing
crime scenes. Ensure continuity of business and operations. Put into
action security procedures in dealing with the issue.
•Ensure standard response to incident wherein all parties listed under
Emergency Contact Information should be notified by the Airport
Manager or, in his or her absence, the primary point of contact.
Avoid duplication as in the event of limited resources, duplication
may leave certain areas or aspects unattended. Waste of valuable
time and resources.
•Avoid omissions to reduce risk by putting into action security
procedures in dealing with the issue. An omission is when you failed to
do what you suppose to do. Suppose an incident affects areas A, B, C
and D. Do not just attend to areas A, B and C. Ensure you leave
nothing unattended.
