System Check. The typical steps for setting up and running this simulation are as follows:
1. First click on “Set up a New Run”.
2. In the facilitator interface in the simulation Settings tab, choose which way you’d like to
administer the simulation. Under the section “Choose a Location” facilitators can either
choose Student Choice, which allows students to decide which level they would like to

play each time they start a new game, or one of the locations (New York, London,
Singapore, My Town). In this case, all students will play the game with the hotel location
that has been selected by the facilitator.
3. If desired, the facilitator can adjust key model parameters in the remainder of the
Settings tab.
4. To begin the simulation, facilitators must click on “Save & Apply Settings” at the bottom
of the Settings screen.
