Unit 10 Market Research Assignment 3
P4
In this task I will conduct a primary and secondary research for my business POWER.
On the 11 November I conducted a Survey which is a method of Primary research where
I questioned twenty-six of my potential customers to identify the market for my business. The
survey was formulated on Survey Planet as it is any easy website to use to create for creating
Surveys. As I was the one that formulated the survey, it was the questions were reliable as I am
familiar with the people that I sent my survey to. Another reason as to why it is reliable is because
the participants were not influenced by any other else's answers so the choices that they made were
their honest opinion.
Below is some of the responses that I got from my questionnaire I conducted from twenty-six of my
participants. This is the link to view the rest of my primary research questionnaire.

, In this part I asked the participants how they would get to store if they happened to go out to
shop. It is crucial that I know how potential customers get to the store as it will help me identify
where to locate my business.
The outcome state that
- Eleven of my participants use the train
- Seven use the Bus and Car
- One uses the Taxi
This result suggest that majority of the potential customers wouldn’t have any issues travelling a
certain distance to go to shop therefore it suggests that I am able to locate my business in the
outskirts of where I am based.
Here I inquired as to whether the participants of my questionnaire face any issues when they buy
clothes for example whether the material of the clothes is uncomfortable on the skin, If the clothes
that they purchase is usually not the right size or if it doesn’t fit them how they need it to be.
A way I could have improved the question “Do you usually have any issues with your clothes?” is by
adding and additional comment section where my participants have the option of stating any other
problems that they sometimes experience with clothes. This way, they could perhaps state what
material usually is uncomfortable on to them on the skin so that I can avoid using the material with
the clothes that I have to offer. The advantage that this has on my business by asking this question is
that it expands CRM which could potentially increase loyal customers, demand, and profit as I am
meeting customer needs.
