Part A: Reflection on My Ecological Footprint (≈200 words)
After completing the ecological footprint calculator, I discovered that my personal
Earth Overshoot Day would occur on 17 March, and that if everyone lived the same
way that I do, humanity would require 4.8 Earths to sustain that lifestyle. Seeing this
result was quite shocking and uncomfortable. It clearly shows that my lifestyle
consumes far more resources than the planet can sustainably provide. The idea that
the Earth would already reach its ecological limits by March if everyone lived like me
highlights how unsustainable many everyday habits have become.
