Learning Aim A: Examine how effective recruitment and selection contribute to
business success
Introduction
1. Pick a business (Business A)and give a brief introduction about it – i.e. number of stores,
employees, activities, industry and etc
2. Define recruitment and selection
3. Explain reasons for recruiting new staff (in general) `e.g. change of job roles, system changes, new
office or branch etc
4. Define workforce planning, and how it can be conducted – i.e. staff training, getting customer
feedback etc
