Phi / Cramer’s V Analyze - descriptive statistics - cross tabs -
insert variables (direction does not matter) -
statistics - Phi and Cramer's V
For all correlation calculations you can use
Spearman in SPSS, except for Spearman,
for Spearman you have to specifically use
the Spearman option.
Correlation in SPSS: Analyze - Correlate - Bivariate - select
variables - select Pearson or Spearman
Adding regression line to scatterplot: Double click on scatterplot - Elements - Fit
line at total - close window.

Pearson table: Analyze - correlate - bivariate
Pivoting trays to see only correlation in Right click on table - pivoting trays - drag
Pearson table: statistics to pivot
Make correlations in table have two Select all correlations in table - right click -
decimals: cell properties - format value - insert
decimals - apply - ok
Have SPSS show only the p values in the Double click on table - statistics: Sig.2tailed
