“Actions speak louder than Words”
“Actions speak louder than words” is a common saying made by Abraham Lincoln in
1856.” In a way, what someone does has more value than what someone says. However,
depending on the situation, corresponds to whether their words mean more. A mother can praise
a child, lecture, support, and guide, but physical contact may have a larger impact. Words of
affirmation are unstable to depend on, merely due to the people. Sayings can be positive and
negative, but actions show someone’s true intentions.
A MOTHER’S TOUCH
Physical touch is essential to the human mind and proper development. It can create a
sense of security, positivity, and connection in order to fully understand the concept of
acceptance and love. At a young age a child requests touch from a mother in order of
identification, without it, abandonment is implemented. A mother is meant to nurture, and be
wanted by a child, leading to a certain degree of healthy child development. When a child is
born, it receives levels of oxytocin from actions such breastfeeding or hugging. It’s a sense of
