Hydrograph assessment; Temporal changes in extremes
Objective
With the rise of large-scale river discharges, there has been growing speculation regarding
the potential impact of climate change. This report aims to investigate this phenomenon by
examining the Tone River in Japan. Specifically, the goal of this assessment is to identify any
differences in discharge time series between the first 25% of the time series and the last
25%. It should be noted that all data used in this analysis was obtained through
measurements taken at the Kurihashi gauging station.

Based on the information presented in the tables, it can be inferred that February has the
lowest mean discharge while September has the highest mean discharge. The winter months
of January, February, and March have the lowest minimum discharge, while August and
September have the highest maximum discharge.
