I chose this book because Colleen Hoover is my favorite writer, and I
find it an Interesting story because she has a confusing love life. My best
friend recommended this book to me and I am very satisfied with it. The
author recognises herself in this story , hence it was difficult for her to
write this book. Lily is the main character, the story mainly revolves
around her. Lily had a difficult childhood because of her parents. Her
father abused her mother. Which made her hate her father, and her
mother too for not doing anything about it. She lived alone in Boston. Lily
saw Ryle one day. Lily fell in love with Ryle. But when they were
together for a while, he sometimes became aggressive and hit her. Lily
did nothing about it, and then she understood her mother, because she
recognised herself in the situation. But she claimed Ryle was different
from her father. But the longer she was in the relationship, the more she
was neglected. Ryle's sister and Lily's mother thought Lily should leave
him but Lily was too much in love. She also felt scared and alone. She
was afraid she would take him back if she left him. Lily got in touch with
her first love Atlas. She had many flashbacks of the past. Atlas was
always there for her whenever her parents had another fight. When she
had a very heated argument with Ryle in which he almost raped her
because he noticed she still had feelings for Atlas, she stayed with Atlas
for a while. She regretted being with Ryle instead of Atlas. But she
thought it was impossible to ever be with Atlas again because she saw
her future with Ryle together. It could be felt that the love between Atlas
and Lily was still very active, even though neither of them dared to admit
it. She no longer knew who to choose, Ryle or Atlas. Ryle returned and
heard about Lily's pregnancy. He wants her forgiveness, but Lily keeps
