Present simple
You use present simple for fact and for events that happen
regularly. A few adverbs that indicate regularity are: always,
usually,often and regularly.

regelmatig plaatsvinden. Een paar bijwoorden die regelmaat
aangeven zijn: always, usually,often and regularly.

- He usually goes to work by bike - This is a habit, most
mornings he takes the bike.

, Present continuous
You use the present continuous to say something is happening
right now or to show you are irritated.
When the verb ends in -e you drop the -e and add -ing, as in
leaving.
Je gebruikt de present continuous om te zeggen dat iets nu
gebeurt of om te laten zien dat je geïrriteerd bent.
Wanneer het werkwoord op een -e eindigt haal je de -e weg en
voeg je -ing toe.
- Bij het werkwoord leave; leave - e = leav, nu voeg je -ing toe
dus wordt het leaving.

- But today he is driving his car to work.
- He is always forgetting things.
