The requirements specification.
1. Intended audience - The intended audience for the website will be :
musicians, music lovers, artists, or anyone who is interested in music or in this
specific band. Age group 16-40. Both females and males.
2. Full summary of the problem to be solved: In my project I’m going to make
a website where you can purchase tickets for a music concert or to stream
music from a specific band. There will be an about artist section so the user
can find more information about artists. A new releases section where you
can find the newest releases from the music group. A section where you can
view all the concert dates and purchase tickets for the concerts.
3. Constraints: The website will display a purchase ticket option, it will also
have links for the songs and links to buy music. however it will not be a forum
and you cannot post reviews on it. No chat function or real-time support.
4. Benefits: The website will help the fans to purchase tickets more easily for
their favourite band and easily listen to their songs by providing links directly
to the songs on youtube.
5. Nature of interactivity : The website will have some interactivity with the help
of JavaScript. The buttons to purchase a ticket will be interactive
6. Complexity of the website: The website will be not too complex but it will be
enough to meet the client requirements and still be user friendly and easy to
use. It will also be easy to maintain.
