My name is {…………….}I am an undergraduate student aiming to attain my degree in
2 years. I am the first person in my family to attend college and further my education. My family
has been very supportive of me. However, I am the head of the household and the primary
provider. I work a full-time job to attain this, and securing this scholarship will go a long way in
helping me achieve the balance between my career ambitions, family, and academic pursuits.
As the primary breadwinner in my family, I struggle to balance supporting my
dependents and funding my education, which I highly prioritize. Working a full-time job has
been able to maintain paying the bills among others in the household; however, with the rising
cost of living and tuition fees, this may be a significant challenge for me in the future; therefore,
this scholarship will not only alleviate my burden but also help me focus on being the best
specialist in Health Service Management and Technology out there because I will be more
focused on my academic achievements. Additionally, my family's stability will remain intact.
I am pursuing academic and career goals in Health service management and technology
to recognize and eliminate the gaps and barriers to older adults' care. This is one of the most
neglected populations, with increasing financial and social insecurity; therefore, I primarily
advocate for this vulnerable population and ensure they receive the resources they need with
empathy, respect, and dignity. My primary career goal is to improve the accessibility and
availability of resources to this population to ensure improved quality of life. This scholarship
will allow me to attain this goal by supporting me in remaining in school and equipped with the
indispensable skills and knowledge to support and lead advocacy in the community.
My current employment role and employment is not directly related to my future career.
However, it has equipped me with transferable skills that will be invaluable for my professional
