The future continuous
To talk about actions that will be going on in the future, we use the future continuous.
In September, I will be attending the university of Leuven.
Future perfect (continuous)
To talk about something that is already completed before a certain time, we use the
future perfect.
By the end of next semester, I will have completed my thesis.
To talk about something that will be in progress at a certain time in the future with
emphasis on the duration of this event, we use the future perfect continuous.
Next May, I will have been working on the project for two years.
Had and would
Had better or ‘d better is used to give advice.
She’d better go now or she’ll miss the bus.
Would rather or ‘d rather is used to express preference.
She’d rather go by bus as she doesn’t like cycling.
