WHICH APPLICATIONS FOR DRONES DO YOU KNOW?
Which applications for drones do you know?
What applications I know for drones. These are:
- movies
- Taking photos (e.g. photographing animals in the wild)
- Security
- is also used by the army police
- In construction (Drones can be used to survey construction sites)
- Leisure time (play with drones)
HOW COULD DRONES COME IN HANDY IN YOUR FUTURE JOB?
How could drones come in handy in your future job?
In my future job as a social worker, I don't really have the idea that drones will be applicable.
I also have the feeling that drones will affect the privacy of my clients. And this is not correct because this is what we
strive for in social work. (For example, I had to keep an eye on the clients in the studios with a drone. )
The only thing I can remember is that if we come into contact with the police, they can use drones to help us (e.g. find
the perpetrator). But this is not an answer to the question of how 'I' will use drones in my future job.

quadruple helix model is a framework that emphasizes the collaboration between four stakeholders. These are
- governments (public institutions)
-companies (industry)
-educational institutions (academic world)
- bridgers (civil society, individuals and communities)
The model is usually used in an open innovation. Where knowledge from other sectors is used by companies to deliver
new and better products & services. Becoming the best can therefore be achieved through the efforts of the four parties
(written above).
After reading the above sentence, I thought that drones can add value within the collaboration and innovation of the 4
stakeholders.
Example:
- ACADELIC: companies in the drone industry can collaborate with schools (such as those in Ostend) to look for new
developments around drones
- INDUSTRY: Simply within industry (companies, agriculture, transport, construction, etc.)
- GOVERNMENT: governments can also use drones in urban construction (e.g. roads, public buildings, etc.)
- CITIZEN: drones can be used to do things that have a positive impact on society (e.g. deliver medical supplies, food,
etc.)

WHEN WE TALK ABOUT DRONES, WE ARE ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT TWO DIFFERENT PARTS. LOOK UP
WHAT THE TERMS "UAV" AND "GCS" MEAN.
When we talk about drones, we are actually talking about two different parts. Look up what the terms "UAV" and "GCS"
mean.
UAV= Unmanned aerial vehicle
Dit is een drone met dag/nacht camera. De beelden die de rone maakt worden gebruikt bij patrouilles of ondersteunen
autoritieten.

Dit is een drone die gebaseerd is op hardware en software. Dit ebtekend dat operators kunnen communiceren met de
drone en zijn lading kunnen besturen.
