WHAT DO YOU THINK? IS AI THE FUTURE OR NOT? WHY?
What do you think? Is AI the future or not? Why?
After watching the video below, I am amazed at how many things AI is involved in. Because of this, I think AI will
definitely be the future.
Nowadays I see more and more talking or using Ai (e.g. facial recognition, VR glasses, voice recognition,.). All this will
only become more used and popular in the future.
Why this is not the case now is, in my opinion, because not everyone understands what AI is all used for and what
exactly it is. I did not know until watching the video below that AI was used for navigation. So I think I am certainly not the
only one.
All this digitalization also scares a lot of people, so Ai will have to break through a threshold/taboo before it will be used
consciously and with pleasure by everyone. Because sometimes I personally find it a bit 'scary'. I talk about certain
products with my friends and my cell phone captures this, so I only get ads for that product on certain apps. This does
make privacy an important aspect where I think AI crosses the line just a bit.
Once this will become even more known, there is no doubt that AI is the future.
DO YOU ALREADY MAKE USE OF AI? HOW?
Do you already make use of AI? How?
Yes, I then immediately think of chatGPT which I use for school. This is a website that looks things up for you, answers
questions or writes things in a different way. I then use this mainly in a school context.
After watching the video above, AI is also in navigation & siri. I did not know this so I also use AI 'unconsciously'.
I was shocked at how many things/apps Ai is already involved in today. which makes me repeat my answer from above.
Ai if we want it or not will become the future. At some point I believe we will also become dependent on Ai in some way.
(hopefully not in the negative sense of course)

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS? OK OR A BRIDGE TOO FAR ETHICALLY SPEAKING?
What do you think about this? Ok or a bridge too far ethically speaking?
I myself am not such a fan here! This is because it:
- violates privacy
- increases pressure on the children enormously
- increases punishment at home (if the student is not paying attention, for example)
- radiation from the device
- The parents are CONSTANTly aware of how attentive the children are. This makes them focus less on their own jobs
-....
I think children should be given room to make mistakes and learn from them!!!! Because of this, I think measuring
children's concentration levels is outrageous. No one can stay 100% focused throughout the day.
IS AI A NEW PHENOMENON?
Is AI a new phenomenon?
No, The term originated is 1956.
Then the definition was a system maintained for independent learning. This definition is still true today.
We do see that AI is used more and more today in the difference from 1956. But this does not mean that it is a "new"
phenomenon before that.
