Project Initiation Document 2 Project Scope Statement The smart lab will be a facility that provides the latest technological laboratory services to the larger community of Coventry and the neighboring communities. The smart lab operations will commence once the building makeover works are completed. The facility will lead to an improved distribution of skills and know-how in digital fabrication, which will increase the availability of trainers in the larger community of Coventry. The project team will first analyse the task, which will lead to minimum project documentation preparation (Akhwaba, 2020). The documentation will include milestone charts, risks, and milestones, which will help decide on crucial project scope and dates. More details of deliverables are in the WBS below.
