Forensische geneeskunde (lijken onderzoek), forensische bouwkunde, forensische
boekhouding → zijn allemaal brede werkvelden die toegepast worden door onze forensische
setting.

Domein waar het recht samenkomt met de psychologie,
Forensische psychologie geen aparte taak, paar toepassing van de psychologie
Wordt toegepast in heel verschillende contexten.

psychologists(Amerikaanse definitie)
“Forensic psychology is a specialty in professional psychology characterized by activities
intended to provide professional psychological expertise within the judicial and legal
systems.”
“Forensic psychology refers to professional practice by any psychologist working within any
sub-discipline of psychology (e.g., clinical, developmental, social, cognitive) when applying
