Software utilities
Its purpose is to support a computer system as well the application software, it helps and
maintain the computer which is used to perform that will befit the user. The software
utilities that I will be explaining three different groups of software utilities that are available
in a computer system: Security, Drive formatting and Clean up tools. I will be explaining the
purpose of the different types of software utilities within the computer system and I will
also be making recommendations of software available on the market that I think that users
should buy; the ones that I feel would be the most beneficial for the computer system.
Security
Security are available in computer system and is very important to have access to security in
your computer system and this will protect your files and any information from your
computer from getting hacked. Security programs are bought and used to prevent virus ect
and hackers to break in. security programs
Anti-virus
Anti-virus is a computer program which is used to prevent, detect any harm such as virus
like worms, trojan horse coming inside of your computer it is used to remove malware. By
having antivirus, it will detect and will try remove any harm so it des effect the computer

this makes sure it protects your computer from any malware trying to come in, if any this
will help performance as it won't let any unnecessary files or malware from coming in

The purpose of having a firewall system in your computer is that it is designed to prevent

likely to come from unauthorised internets if your using a not secured Wi-Fi.
Having a firewall in your desktop will make sure it prevents unauthorised entry form any
other types of connections which you can get from joining from random Wi-Fi, or even from
sites which will try coming into your desktop and harm or even steal information. Similarly,
to an antivirus firewall does not affect performance as this also protects suspicious access
from unauthorised networks or connections and won't affect performance as it won't slow it
down. I advise Ads4U to purchase MacAfee and Norton this is because both software's are
reliable, both software's will make sure it detects any sign of virus trying to break in and the
firewall will prevent any suspicious entry from connections and protect your computer from
