Senior management - makes long range strategic decisions about products and
services as well as ensures financial performance of a firm

from external sources.

Executive support systems - information systems at the organization's strategic level
designed to address unstructured decision making through advanced graphics and
communications. Help senior managers make non-routine decisions. Meant to combine
tps and dss information and include information covering all aspects of a problem and
the solution

Discuss the full impact of the internet on the five separate areas of the competitive
forces model. - answers - substitute products or services - enable new substitutes to
emerge with new approaches to meeting needs and performing functions

Customers bargaining power - shifts bargaining power to the customer due to the
availability of global price and product information

Suppliers bargaining power - loses power to customers, but can benefit from reduced
