How have you been? What have you been up to recently?
Larry: It's amazing how much I've kind of learned from this school,
coming here encouraged me to do a lot of stuff that I never would
have gotten encouraged for, I mean I wouldn't encourage myself to
do painting and... I did some when I was a kid, but then when I get
to be older, I kind of left it aside. And then since the stroke, for that
first four months or five months, whatever it was, everything was
gone, everything. And when I would do, I've probably told you all
the same stuff the last time I saw you but... I just couldn't
remember anything. And I confused my son, one of my sons is the,
probably my closest friend, and we see each other usually about
once a week, or once a week in a half, and we talk about
everything. He takes me places and we do things and that really
helps keep me motivated. I couldn't do all of that without him. Or
in the same thing with my wife, I mean it's just amazing how much
care they give to me. My wife says she doesn't give me that much,
but she does. And my son Chris, all my kids I'm close to which is
amazing to me. Eight kids, and I'm close to every one of them,
including my four and Maureen's four. And I didn't know any of the
kids when I married Maureen. I just met them. And I think the
youngest at that time was 3 or 4 years old. But we just, I don't
know what it was, we just connected, every one of us. So my son
and her sons get together and they hang out once in a while. And
when we go somewhere, when I go somewhere and I'm going with
Maureen's son, I might invite my son or let him know that we're
going, and he sometimes comes. So the whole family, me or her
and I, his kids and I, my kids and... SLP: You're very close to your
family. Larry: It's amazing how lucky we are to have a close family.

Tell me about some of the art projects you have been working on.
Larry: I love it. SLP: So could you show me some of the stuff that
you've done? Larry: Oh, sure. SLP: And then we could get started.
And when you come back to get started in your regular therapy,
