The professional teacher

A work-booklet that I produced for my students aged between 16-18 years studying on the early years BTEC diploma. The booklet asks the students questions about school readiness for four year olds starting school and what preparation is needed. This booklet is a form of coursework for students to pass.

This essay reviews the feedback provided by my mentor from my practical teaching lesson. After each of the eight teaching observations that my mentor observed from my teaching practice I reflect on my strengths and weaknesses and areas for improvement on this essay.

An essay that reviews the overall teaching practice undertaken, it draws on teaching feedback provided by my mentor about how my teaching practice can be improved and in which specific areas.

The professional teacher assignment looks at how teaching practice must be carefully planned to cater for students needs including preferred learning styles, participations factors, the amount of students and any learners that require study support.

The professional teacher portfolio takes an in depth look at how the classroom and teaching rationale and lesson proforma must be adapted to support learner needs and requirements.
