• eindigt op klinker + ‘l’ => altijd dubbele l travelling
• eindigt op klinker + medeklinker => nadruk op laatste lettergreep => laatste medeklinker verdubbelen admitting
=> geen nadruk op laatste lettergreep => laatste medeklinker niet verdubbelen benefiting
