•Begin with the section of the course that it links to (eg. Materials and nature –Nanotechnology .)
•Introduction – keep it brief; use 50‐100 words max. Set the scene in a sentence – big fact/stat then s
current approach to fix, new approach and then end with the SHE links to be covered
•Background (NOT THE FOCUS!); use 100‐200 words max. Quote the relevant science from the cou
then finish with a paragraph about the new technology. Use extensive figures/captions to help limit wo
•SHE (THE MAIN PART); use anywhere up to 700 words (if in Stage I) to describe ONE SHE links or
in DETAIL.
•What might this look like for CC, D, I and AL? (I wouldn’t do CC; but just my opinion)
•Should be extensively referenced (as long as it is consistent, use data and always back up explanati
•Impact (only if have not done Application and limitation); at max 100 words
•Conclusion; do it in as little words as possible (50ish words)
