Peripheral Vascular - ✅✅-TED hose, pneumatic stockings
Respiratory - ✅✅-Due to decreased mobility, the patient has an increased risk for pneumonia.
-Encourage the patient to use an incentive spirometer and Cough, Deep Breathing.
-If the patient cannot follow those directions, then think about more frequent change of positions, to
the side and perform postural drainage.
